Display

The 5-inch IPS LCD display is pretty smooth. It is sleek, snappy, has good viewing angles and maintains contrast ratio. The screen has a 1280x720 pixel resolution with 294ppi pixel density.

The display is also very responsive, playing games and watching movies is a snatch for the screen, browsing the internet, texting on the stock Android keyboard is neat as well.

You can also use the phone while wearing gloves too! similar like Samsung Galaxy S4.

User Interface

The UI is pretty much similar with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean in the works. Micromax has its own  apps, like the M Security, and with various other Jelly Bean specific apps.
M Security keeps your phone safe from viruses, backs up your contacts and has anti-theft options embedded to secure the phone in case of an intruder alert.

Micromax has brought to the game a cool swell feature to unlock your phone with a blow on the surface of the phone to unlock your phone! You can blow  or you can shake it to unlock.

Even though it was added with the traditional feature swipe unlock feature !

Camera
The Canvas 4 sports a 13MP rear snapper. A significant improvement over its predecessor(8MP) and which comes with features. While budget phone are not good in  cameras quality .This phone has what it takes to sell as a good enough camera phone with good image output

From Samsung’s !

One of the  feature that all  liked on recent Samsung Android smartphones is the ability to watch a video in “pop out”  window on the display and continue working in the background. This feature has been brought to the Micromax Canvas 4. You can continue watching a video in a small window and check your mail, sent a text or browse the Internet in multitasking.
speaking about the feature on samsung  one of the features that never worked for me on the Samsung Galaxy S4 was Smart Pause.  Because when the user is with  glasses and the phone couldn’t detect my eyes – a frustrating experience. The Canvas 4 has brought this “Smart Pause” feature and I have to say, it works quite well. There is a bit of lag between the video pausing and playing.
Swipe the finger on the display to manage the brightness of the screen !

Bottom Line

Despite everything the Canvas 4 brings to the table, we expected more. Without the software and camera upgrades, the device is essentially the Canvas HD. It just doesn’t justify the 18k price point. The good thing about the smartphone is that there is no reduction in performance when compared to its predecessor. The build is still above average. But if the next generation sub 20k quad-core phones are in a row !!

Is really MICROMAX is NOTHING like anything !!!

well, its our review try for your own !
